ABOUT US

At Namaste Hot,  Vinyasa yoga is the primary style of yoga practiced. Vinyasa (pronounced "vin-yah-sah") means "to flow". Vinyasa classes incorporate fluid, sequential movements. Vinyasa teachers choreograph their classes to smoothly transition from pose to pose, and often play music to keep things lively. If you're looking for something different and love to test your physical limits, Vinyasa style maybe what you need!

I am a Fergus Falls native and I am excited to be back home sharing my passion for yoga with my community. I have been teaching yoga since 2015 and completed my 200 hour yoga teacher training in 2016. I am a 200RYT Yoga Alliance and Yogahour certified teacher. Yogahour style of teaching is rooted in Iyengar yoga and focuses on alignment and form. On my mat, I am an avid yoga learner. I enjoy exploring different classes and attending workshops to advance my practice and teaching. Arm balances and back bends are my favorites! Off my mat, I am an outdoor enthusiast and coach. I enjoy running, skiing, biking, kayaking, hiking and camping. My husband and I have three huskies and together we have visited all the MN state parks!
 Lois Reff : Yoga Instructor
I am Lois Reff and I am so excited to be teaching at Namaste Hot!
My classes are a vinyasa flow and whether we are swaying to soul music in a restorative class or rocking it out to Jimmy Buffet in a power class, FUN is one of my first goals – it's OK to laugh in a yoga class!
I strive to make my classes a relaxed healing experience for the mind and body while leaving the student feeling like we have found every forgotten muscle.
I am trained through YogaFit, which combines exercise science with traditional yoga. Specialized in trauma-sensitive yoga with a 140 hour Warrior Certificate, I help people who have experienced PTSD or other trauma related issues through the healing benefits of yoga movement and breath.
I LOVE introducing yoga into the lives of first time students! My first yoga classes were waaaaay back in 1978 and although there was a break between then and when I began teaching in 2013; I never lost my appreciation of the yoga journey.
I live in the woods with my husband, Kevin, along with a household of three geriatric dogs and three cats. My two favorite ways I restore my soul are reclining on the end of our dock, soaking up the sun; and riding on the back of our motorcycle, touring our amazing lakes country. I am blessed to be able to share my yoga practice with you!
